The first Daily Maersk
cargo has arrived!

Absolute reliability in shipping is a reality with Daily Maersk. Maersk Line’s revolutionary new service on the Asia - North Europe trade lane, has shown that it can be done.

The first Daily Maersk cargo was on time in all three European ports being serviced, Felixstowe, Rotterdam and Bremerhaven.

“Maersk Line is proving that we can give customers absolute reliability. When we first started thinking about introducing Daily Maersk I did wonder whether it was going to be possible. We made it happen, and we are confident we can continue to provide outstanding service to our customers”, says Vincent Clerc from Maersk Line.

Customers have also reacted very positively to the new Daily Maersk service. Absolute reliability means lower costs elsewhere:

"The fixed cargo helpful when our customers have promotional stock or even a deadline to deliver to store. With the fixed availability date and the Maersk Line transportation promise then this enables better planning and a more reliable supply chain thus enabling costs to be taken out", says Adam Collins, Managing Director, PFE Express.

Dear a. scouser, could you be a little more specific about where and when since this is against Maersk Line policies for garbage disposal.

We have very specific guidelines on how and when to dispose garbage and waste to secure environmental safe disposal and efficieny - and the seafarers I have spoken to have a lot of respect for the ocean and appreciate our guidelines.

If you have any further comments feel free to share it with me.

Committing more than 70 ships to Daily Maersk that's really a milestone.

MSC and CMA CGM can't provide such a service. You need modern efficient ships to run such a schedule.

Remember that in the shipping industry are MSC refered to 'More Scrap Coming'.
